In the world of scuba diving, boats and currents are two factors that can significantly impact your dive. Boats may not always be aware of divers below, and currents can sometimes carry you farther than anticipated. To navigate these challenges effectively, the PADI Delayed Surface Marker Buoy (DSMB) Diver course offers comprehensive training.

Importance of DSMB in Diving

  • Visibility to Boaters: Using a DSMB helps signal your location to boaters, making them aware of your presence underwater.
  • Safety in Currents: In strong currents, a DSMB can be a crucial tool for marking your position and ensuring your ascent is noticed.
  • Navigational Aid: The DSMB line can serve as a guide during your safety stop, particularly useful in currents or when there are no visual references underwater.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Full Refund: Cancellations made before 6:00 PM the day prior to the scheduled program/course/trip.
  2. Partial Refund (80%): Cancellations made after 6:00 PM the day prior to the scheduled program/course/trip, regardless of the reason, are subject to a 20% service fee.
  3. Non-Refundable: Cancellations made on the day of the scheduled program/course/trip, regardless of the reason.
  4. Full Refund for Circumstances Beyond Control: If Dive Shop cancel a program/course/trip due to inclement weather, unsuitable sea conditions, or unavailable transportation, as determined by our staff, a full refund will be provided.
