PADI Divemaster Course

Our Divemaster course is designed to elevate your passion for diving into a position of leadership and expertise. It offers an in-depth exploration of scuba diving concepts and equipment, fostered through independent study. Additionally, you’ll develop essential leadership skills through hands-on workshops under the guidance of experienced instructor mentors.

Achieving the PADI Divemaster rating signifies that you are

• Highly skilled in personal diving techniques.
• Knowledgeable at an instructor level in diving theory.
• Trained extensively in assisting instructors during training activities.
• Capable of taking on significant responsibilities to enhance the safety and enjoyment of other divers.

As a PADI Divemaster, you are authorized to

• Serve as a certified assistant to PADI Instructors.
• Oversee participants in PADI programs for uncertified divers.
• Manage a range of diving activities, including training and non-training dives.
• Instruct and certify PADI Skin Divers.
• Conduct the PADI Scuba Review for certified divers.
• Progress to PADI Instructor level training.

The PADI Divemaster program comprises three main phases

A. Watermanship and Skills Assessment

• Evaluating watermanship and stamina.
• Assessing general diving skills.

B. Knowledge Development

• Studying diving physics, physiology, and environment.
• Learning about student supervision, dive management and control, dive planning, and emergency assistance planning for local diving emergencies.
• Mapping a local open water site.

C. Practical Application

• Engaging in various structured training sessions, simulated scenarios, and internship sessions with actual PADI programs to gain practical experience as an instructional assistant and dive activity supervisor.
