The IDC Pathway

Two-Part Course: Comprises the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program.
Full Journey: Complete the IDC and proceed to the Instructor Examination (IE) – your final step to PADI Instructor certification.
Step-by-Step Growth: Start with the AI course, then advance to the OWSI program and IE for the full Instructor rating.

Opportunities for Existing Instructors

Instructors from other organizations can directly enter the OWSI program, recognizing their prior training.

IDC Enrollment Requirements

Diving Experience: A PADI Divemaster, certified for six months, with at least 60 logged dives (100 dives for IE).
Emergency Training: Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care training within the last 24 months.
Medical Clearance: A physician’s sign-off within the last 12 months.
EFR Instructor Rating: Can be obtained during your instructor training.

Cancellation Policy

Full Refund: Cancellations made before 6:00 PM the day prior to the scheduled program/course/trip.
Partial Refund (80%): Cancellations made after 6:00 PM the day prior to the scheduled program/course/trip, regardless of the reason, are subject to a 20% service fee.
Non-Refundable: Cancellations made on the day of the scheduled program/course/trip, regardless of the reason.
Full Refund for Circumstances Beyond Control: If Fisheye Divers cancels a program/course/trip due to inclement weather, unsuitable sea conditions, or unavailable transportation, as determined by our staff, a full refund will be provided.
