IDC: Your Path to Becoming an Instructor

Two-Part Course: The IDC consists of the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program.
Complete Path: Most professionals complete the full IDC and proceed to the Instructor Examination (IE) – your gateway to becoming a certified PADI Instructor.
Step-by-Step Progress: Starting as a PADI Assistant Instructor, you can later join the OWSI program and qualify for the IE.

Cross-Over for Existing Instructors

If you’re already an instructor with another organization, you may directly enter the OWSI program, acknowledging your previous instructor training.

Prerequisites for IDC Enrollment

Dive Experience: A PADI Divemaster who’s been a certified diver for six months with at least 60 logged dives (100 dives required to attend an IE).
Emergency Training: Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the last 24 months.
Medical Clearance: A recent medical statement signed by a physician.
EFR Instructor Rating: This can be obtained during your instructor training.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing.
Refunds are subjected to the following conditions:
Cancellation of accommodation package 30days before departure: 50% REFUND.
Cancellation of accommodation package less than 30days before departure: NO REFUND.
Cancellation of Course or Activities 7days before departure: 90% REFUND
Cancellation of Course or Activities 2days before departure: 50% REFUND
Cancellation of Course or Activities 1day before departure: NO REFUND
NO REFUND will be given upon the start of the course unless due to unforeseen circumstances such as CANCEL or STOP ACTIVITIES by the Philippines Coast Guard. The refund will be based on ProRated of the course.
90% refund will be given under Medical Condition given by a Medical Doctor stated as Unfit For Diving.
The Company reserves the right to cancel or modify the dive sites due to unforeseen circumstances.
